Coaching Life Podcast Set to Give Every Coach a Voice
Our new audio series will spotlight the stories behind coaching, explore the issues shaping the profession, and give coaches a stronger voice across Australia’s life, employment, corporate, community and sporting sectors.

At Coaching Life, we are preparing to launch a new podcast series set to be released soon on Spotify and Apple Podcasts. Hosted by our Editor-in-Chief, Elizabeth Pickworth, we are creating the series to celebrate, inform and connect coaches across a wide range of fields, including life coaching, employment services, corporate leadership, community development and sport.
Through this podcast, we are creating a platform for conversations about helping people set goals, build confidence, navigate change, strengthen leadership and create meaningful pathways in work and life. As coaching expands across workplaces, communities, education, wellbeing and sport, we are championing coaches as partners in growth, learning and change.
We are developing the Coaching Life podcast to meet a growing appetite for practical, reflective and accessible coaching content. The series brings professional insight and real experience into a conversational format that coaches can access between sessions, on the move or during moments of reflection.
“I am proud to launch this podcast as it will showcase the breadth and depth of the coaching profession and will allow our audience to participate by contacting us for ideas for future episodes,” Elizabeth Pickworth, Editor in Chief of Coaching Life, says.
Across the series, we are drawing on expertise in high performance, life coaching, cultural intelligence, parental wellbeing, entrepreneurship, health and wellness, conflict resolution, business sustainability, motivational interviewing, resilience, organisational psychology and the future of coaching. This gives the podcast a broad editorial foundation without limiting the conversation to one sector or coaching model.
The 12 planned episodes (with more to come) will explore coaching as a human experience; insecurity and imposter syndrome; coaching across cultures; parental guilt, burnout and the sandwich generation; intrapreneurship inside organisations; health and wellbeing coaching; transforming conflict into cooperation; building a sustainable coaching practice; motivational interviewing and life coaching; resilience coaching; organisational culture change; and the future of coaching as an evidence-informed, ethical and technology-aware profession.
A central theme of our series is the lived experience of coaching. We look beyond methods, models and goal-setting frameworks to examine what it means to guide people, manage relationships and create environments where clients, teams and communities can learn.
We recognise that coaching is complex and often under-recognised. Coaches help people prepare for employment, lead teams, build businesses, strengthen communities, improve wellbeing and perform under pressure. Through the Coaching Life podcast, we are giving this work a forum where it is taken seriously and seen across many parts of society.
Our launch reflects a broader shift in the way coaching knowledge is shared. As media becomes more digital and multimedia-led, we are creating a format that reaches coaches across private practice, workplaces, employment programs, community organisations, education settings and sporting environments.
“Since launching Coaching Life over 10 years ago, we have decided to move from a printed publication and relaunch to a more digital, multimedia platform to keep with the changing landscape of media,” Stewart Fleming, Founder of Coaching Life, says.
Rather than presenting coaching as a fixed formula, we highlight the importance of context. Through in-depth interviews and reflective discussion, we explore how coaches make decisions, learn from experience and refine their practice over time.
The podcast will also support organisations that want to strengthen their coaching culture. By sharing good practice and honest conversations about common challenges, we are providing an additional resource for employers, service providers, community organisations, educational institutions, clubs and professional networks.
Together, these episodes show coaching as a mature and multidimensional profession: one that supports performance, identity, culture, care, innovation and behaviour change. The strongest thread running through the series is that coaching is moving beyond advice and motivation toward deeper human development, ethical presence and sustainable transformation.
We invite questions, story ideas and topic suggestions by email at editor@coachinglife.com.au so the podcast continues to reflect the issues, opportunities and conversations that matter to our audience.
For us at Coaching Life, the podcast is more than a new content channel. It strengthens our role as a platform for the coaching profession and places coaching conversations at the centre of our work.
We cannot wait for you to be part of this exciting journey with us!
